from "Keeping Up Appearances"by Elizabeth Alexandermixed media, 2008
Elizabeth Alexander is an adjunct professor at Montserrat School of Art and local sculptor to Massachusetts' north shore. Her work ranges from three dimensional drawings on paper to large scale installations encompassing materials from wall paper and porcelain to a gutted car. No matter the scale or material her work is obsessively detailed and ornate. She is currently preparing a new series: Welder's Daughter which will begin showing at the end of this summer in New England.
